0845 numbers pricing charges

0845 numbers, is the pricing changing or not? Ok so Ofcom are not going to change 0845.
However many are experiencing increased or new charges now to continue to own/use an 0845.

Ofcom are encouraging those with 0845 to swop to 03 equivalent so the 0345 number would then replace the 0845 & in a similar way 0370 will replace 0870.
The pricing for callers also now varies massively across suppliers and networks with mobile callers still paying much higher rates.

BT have included 0845 & 0870 in domestic call packages (which they claimed would result in a loss of revenue equating into tens of millions of pounds). No reduction has been seen on the business side yet.
If you have an 0845 you will be best to change to the 0345 equivalent and you will need to be aware that it is very likely that a per minute charge will be applied at some point by your current provider.
